I've been pretty pessimistic about the W3C lately, and I figured this was my change to try and do something about it, rather than just bitching all the time. I'm a bit cynical as to whether or not it'll help, but we'll never know if we don't try -- and like I said, I can't really complain if I am unwilling to help.
